Michigan Code § 767.20

Grand Jury; Examination of Witnesses; Advice on Legal Matters.

Sec. 20.
If requested by the grand jury, the prosecuting attorney or attorney general shall examine witnesses in the presence of the grand jury, and advise the grand jury on legal matters.
