(1) Only a title IV-D agency may use this act to establish paternity and support. (2) This act may not be used to establish the parentage of either of the following: (a) A child conceived through the use of assisted reproduction that does not involve surrogacy if the parents of the child may be determined under the assisted reproduction and surrogacy parentage act.
