Sec. 6. The council may lay out or establish public parks and grounds within the village, and improve, light, and ornament public parks and grounds within the village. The council may regulate the use of public parks and grounds and protect the public parks and grounds and their appurtenances from obstruction, encroachment, and injury. History: 1895, Act 3, Imd.
