Sec. 7. (1) All elections in the village shall be conducted as nearly as may be in the manner provided by the Michigan election law, 1954 PA 116, MCL 168.1 to 168.992, for holding general elections in the state, except as provided in this act. (2) If at any election vacancies are to be filled, or if any person is to be elected for less than a full term of office, the term shall be designated on the ballot. History: 1895, Act 3, Imd. Eff.
