Sec. 8825. (1) A law enforcement officer issuing a citation under this chapter for a state civil infraction shall not accept a fee for issuing the citation. (2) A law enforcement officer who violates this section is guilty of misconduct in office and subject to removal from office. History: Add. 1995, Act 54, Eff. Jan. 1, 1996
