Sec. 8725. (1) An authorized local official issuing a citation under this chapter for a municipal civil infraction shall not accept a fee for issuing the citation. (2) An authorized local official who violates this section is guilty of misconduct in office and subject to removal from office. History: Add. 1994, Act 12, Eff. May 1, 1994
