Sec. 6. The secretary of state shall issue a new title or registration to the purchaser of a vessel or trailer at a sale conducted under section 5. If the vessel or trailer was registered in another state, the secretary of state shall notify the other state that a new title or registration has been issued. History: 1998, Act 362, Imd. Eff.
