Sec. 301. (1) A telecommunication provider shall not provide or resell basic local exchange service in this state, without a license issued from the commission under this act. (2) Pending the determination of an application for a license, the commission without notice and hearing may issue a temporary license for a period not to exceed 1 year. History: 1991, Act 179, Eff.
