Sec. 1. A motor carrier of general commodities shall not operate any motor vehicle in for-hire transportation on any public highway in this state except in accordance with this act. A motor carrier of general commodities shall not operate upon any public highway without first having obtained a certificate of authority from the commission. History: 1933, Act 254, Eff.
