Transportation of Railroad Employees; Vehicles.

Sec. 263.
Vehicles used to transport railroad employees shall be equipped with adequate seating, heating, and communication systems and shall comply with all safety requirements to operate on Michigan highways. This section shall not apply to motor vehicles used to transport employees on railroad property or in cases of extreme emergency unless the condition of the vehicle endangers employee safety. If a dispute arises as to the adequacy of the facilities provided, it may be submitted to and decided by the department.
