Sec. 4. If by reason of the death, absence, or other legal impediment of the officers of any corporation, there is no person duly authorized to call or preside at a legal meeting of the corporation, the district or municipal court of the judicial district or municipality where the corporation is established may, on a written application of 3 or more of the members of the corporation, issue a warrant to 1 of the members, directing him or her to call a meeting of the corporation, by giving notice as shall have been previously required by law; and the judge may, in the same warrant, direct the person to preside at the meeting until a clerk is duly chosen and qualified, if there is no other officer present legally authorized to preside at the meeting.
