Sec. 14. If the director determines that the benefits to the state from the corps can be achieved in a more practicable manner through an entity identified or established pursuant to chapter II, the director may do both of the following: (a) Enter into agreements with the entity to provide corpsmembers to the department for work training programs on state-owned lands under control of the department. (b) Cease to operate the Michigan civilian conservation corps state program under this chapter. History: Add. 2012, Act 576, Imd. Eff.
