Sec. 4. Each commissioner shall receive $10.00 compensation for each day's service for not to exceed 25 days in any one year, and such necessary traveling expenses and mileage as may be incurred in the actual performance of his duties; such compensation and expenses to be fixed by the township board. For the first 2 years after the adoption of the civil service system, compensation may be paid for not to exceed 50 days' service in any one year. History: 1965, Act 246, Eff. Mar. 31, 1966
