Sec. 9131. (1) The department, and under its supervision a local health department, shall publicize the places where family planning services are available. The publicity shall state that receipt of public health services is not dependent on a request or nonrequest for family planning services. (2) An effort shall not be made to coerce a medically indigent individual to request or not request family planning services. The department, and under its supervision a local health department, shall provide family planning services to a medically indigent individual upon the individual's request in accordance with standards established under section 9133.
