Appeal of Denied Application; Hearing.

Sec. 217.
(1) If the department denies an application for a registration, the applicant may appeal the denial by submitting a written request for a hearing to the department. The applicant must submit the request to the department not more than 15 days after the date of the denial.
(2) The department shall conduct a hearing requested under this section pursuant to the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.201 to 24.328.
