Sec. 228. Subject to the provisions of this chapter, a board is authorized to enter into contracts for the purchase of mental health services and property lease arrangements with private or public agencies or individuals. A board may enter into a contract with any facility or entity of the department with the approval of the director of the department. History: 1974, Act 258, Eff.
