Sec. 6534. (1) An employee, owner, or operator of a public inspection station shall not furnish information, except information provided by the state or otherwise required by this part, about the name or other description of a repair facility or other place where maintenance may be obtained. (2) Each testing station shall furnish the following information upon failure of the vehicle to pass inspection: (a) A written inspection report listing each reason that the vehicle failed the emissions inspection. (b) A notice that states the following: "A vehicle's failure to pass the emissions inspection may be related to a malfunction covered under warranty.".
