Sec. 6531. The department may issue a certificate of compliance for a motor vehicle when the department makes a determination that the motor vehicle complies with the requirements of this part and the rules promulgated under this part. The department shall establish a system for selecting which motor vehicles qualify for the department's determination as to compliance. History: Add. 1995, Act 60, Imd. Eff.
