Sec. 11586. (1) The state solid waste management plan consists of the state solid waste plan and all MMPs approved by the department. (2) The department shall consult and assist in the preparation and implementation of MMPs. (3) The department may undertake or contract for studies or reports necessary or useful in the preparation of the state solid waste management plan. (4) The department shall promote policies that encourage resource recovery and establishment of materials utilization facilities. History: Add. 2022, Act 250, Eff.
