Michigan Code § 324.11147

Violation as Misdemeanor; Penalty; Appearance Ticket.

Sec. 11147.
A person who violates section 11132a(1)(b) or (n) or who violates rules promulgated under section 11132a(1)(b) or (n) is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or a fine of not more than $500.00, or both, for each violation. A law enforcement officer or a conservation officer may issue an appearance ticket to a person who is in violation of section 11132a(1)(b) or (n) or the rules promulgated under section 11132a(1)(b) or (n).
