Michigan Code § 32.1128

Assault; Punishment.

Sec. 128.
An individual subject to this code who unlawfully and with force or violence attempts to do bodily harm to another individual, offers to do bodily harm to another individual, or does bodily harm to another individual, is guilty of assault and must be punished as a court-martial directs.
