School Property; Municipal Regulation of Operation, Parking and Speed of Vehicles.

Sec. 1.
Every municipal legislative authority wherein the properties of any board of education, school district or community college district is situated shall have the authority to adopt ordinances governing the operation, parking without fees and the speed of motor vehicles upon the property of such board of education, school district or community college district, for the purpose of enforcement and the imposing of penalties for the violation thereof in the same manner as other ordinances of the municipal legislative authority are enforced. No municipal legislative authority shall adopt such ordinances without first receiving a resolution from the board of education, school district or board of trustees of the community college district over whose property the ordinances shall apply requesting the adoption of such ordinances.
