Michigan Code § 247.69

Board of Supervisors; Auditing Accounts of Commissioner; Payment.

Sec. 9.
The board of supervisors or other official body appointing any commissioner shall audit the accounts of the commissioner, both for his services and for the money expended or labor employed by him; and they shall provide for their payment as they now do for other county or municipal expenses.
