Sec. 31. (1) For purpose of verifying transactions disclosed by an audit or investigation, a person or firm authorized to conduct an audit under this act may ascertain the deposits, payments, withdrawals, and balances on deposit in a bank account or with a contractor or with any other person having dealings with the county road commission. (2) A bank, contractor, or person shall not be held liable for making available any of the information required under this act. History: Add. 1975, Act 199, Imd. Eff.
