Michigan Code § 224.11a

County Road Commissioners; Acceptance of Land, Payment of Taxes and Special Assessments.

Sec. 11a.
The board of county road commissioners in laying out, widening, changing or straightening, or in any manner acquiring lands for county road purposes, shall not accept any lot or lands deeded to it unless all taxes and special assessments on such lands have been paid in full.
