Sec. 61. The board of state canvassers shall determine which candidates for governor and lieutenant governor have received the greatest number of votes and shall declare such candidates to be duly elected. The said board shall forthwith make and subscribe on its statement of return a certificate of such determination and deliver the same to the secretary of state. History: 1954, Act 116, Eff.
