Sec. 262. The board of county canvassers shall determine which candidate for county road commissioner received the greatest number of votes and shall declare such candidate to be duly elected. The said board shall forthwith make and subscribe on its statement of returns a certificate of such determination and deliver the same to the county clerk. History: 1954, Act 116, Eff.
