Sec. 355. The head of the department of transportation is the director of the department of transportation. The director shall be appointed as provided in section 5 of Act No. 286 of the Public Acts of 1964, as amended, being section 247.805 of the Michigan Compiled Laws. History: 1965, Act 380, Imd. Eff.
