Equitable jurisdiction of superior court

Section 42. The superior court shall have jurisdiction in equity to enforce any lawful rule, regulation or order made by the commission or any of its members or by a city or town under any provision of sections thirty-five to fifty-two, inclusive, and may compel the attendance of and the giving of testimony by witnesses before the commission or any member thereof, in the same manner and to the same extent as before said court.
