Section 6. (a) The commissioner shall examine and investigate the activities of any person that the commissioner reasonably believes has been or is engaged in an act or practice prohibited by this chapter. (b) The commissioner shall enforce this chapter and may issue orders to cease and desist and impose fines of up to $500 per violation against any person who violates this chapter. (c) The commissioner may promulgate rules and regulations as are necessary or proper to implement this chapter.
