Section 3. Examinations shall be in whole or in part in writing, in English, shall be of a scientific and practical character, shall include the subjects of anatomy, surgery, chemistry, biology, physics, physiology, pathology, obstetrics, gynecology, psychiatry, practice of medicine and hygiene and shall be sufficiently thorough to test the applicants' fitness to practice medicine. The board may employ expert assistance in conducting hospital and laboratory tests.
