(a) After holding a public hearing, the governing body of any publicly owned airport in this State may adopt regulations for: (1) The parking of motor vehicles at the airport, including provision of a uniform system for accessible parking for individuals with disabilities to enhance the safety of people with disabilities in conformity with: (i) The "Uniform System for Parking for Persons With Disabilities" (23 C.F.R. Part 1235); (ii) The "Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities" (Appendix A to 28 C.F.R. Part 36 and 36 C.F.R. Part 1191.1); and (iii) 14 C.F.R. Part 382.23(a); (2) The movement of traffic at the airport; (3) Safety at the airport; and (4) The preservation of order at the airport. (b) All regulations adopted under this section shall be posted conspicuously in a public place at the airport.
