(a) A pedestrian who crosses a roadway shall yield the right-of-way to any approaching emergency vehicle that is using audible and visual signals that meet the requirements of § 22-218 of this article. (b) A pedestrian who crosses a roadway shall yield the right-of-way to any approaching police vehicle that is lawfully using an audible signal. (c) This section does not relieve the driver of an emergency vehicle from the duty to drive with due regard for the safety of all persons.
