Within 10 days of the conviction, the Administration shall notify the driver licensing authority in the licensing state of the conviction of: (1) Any nonresident holder of a commercial instructional permit or commercial driver's license for the violation of any State law or local ordinance relating to operating a motor vehicle, other than parking violations; (2) Any nonresident holder of a noncommercial driver's license for the violation of any State law or local ordinance relating to operating a motor vehicle, other than parking violations, committed in a commercial motor vehicle; or (3) Any nonresident who does not hold any type of license to drive, or whose license to drive is suspended, revoked, or canceled, for the violation of any State law or local ordinance relating to operating a commercial motor vehicle, other than parking violations.
