(a) "Conviction" means: (1) A final conviction, even if the penalty is refunded, suspended, or probated; (2) An unvacated forfeiture of collateral deposited to secure a defendant's appearance in court; (3) A plea of nolo contendere accepted by the court; or (4) The payment of a fine. (b) "Conviction" does not include a finding of probation on a stay of entering judgment.
