(a) With the advice and consent of the Senate, the Governor shall appoint
the Director of the Agency, who is the executive officer of the Agency and secretary of
the Commission.
(b) The Director serves at the pleasure of the Governor.
(c) The Director must have the training and experience needed to direct the
work of the Agency.
(d) The Director shall devote full time to the duties of office and may not
engage in another profession or occupation.
(e) In addition to any duties set forth elsewhere in this subtitle, the Director
shall have immediate supervision and direction over the Agency.
(f) The Director is entitled to the salary provided in the State budget.
