This subtitle does not prohibit any person that is licensed or regulated by the
Maryland Department of Labor from refusing, withholding from, or denying
accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, sales, or services to any person for
failure to conform to the usual and regular requirements, standards, and regulations
of the licensed or regulated person, provided that the denial is not based on
discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, color, creed, national origin, marital
status, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, or disability.
