(a) If the General Assembly adopts a joint resolution that asks the Governor or an official of a unit of the Executive Branch of the State government to take any action, the Governor or the official shall give the Legislative Policy Committee and each sponsor of the resolution notice of the action taken under the resolution. (b) Notice under this section shall be given on or before any date established by the resolution.
