(a) Before a unit awards any procurement contract for an amount above $500,000, the recommended awardee may be required to submit a workforce diversity plan to the procurement officer. (b) Before a unit awards any procurement contract for an amount above $250,000, the recommended awardee may be required to submit a supplier diversity plan to the procurement officer. (c) The Governor's Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business Affairs in consultation with the Office of State Procurement shall adopt regulations to carry out this section that include: (1) suggested content to be included in a workforce or supplier diversity plan; and (2) guidance for units to comply with the requirements of this section.
