(a) Notwithstanding any other section of this subtitle, the Department of Natural Resources may dispose of any existing structure on any property acquired by the State for the use of the Department if the structure is valued at $2,500 or less. (b) Before the Department of Natural Resources disposes of any structure under this section, the Department shall give public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the structure is located. (c) The proceeds of the sale shall be credited to the Natural Resources Property Maintenance Fund.
