Section NR-8-1309

The appropriate county governing body or its duly designated agency may
acquire lands for the purposes stated in this subtitle outside of the area of the
Watershed plan, if the appropriate county governing body or its duly designated
agency finds that acquisition is necessary to preserve any portion of the Watershed
plan in its county. The appropriate county governing body or its duly designated
agency may expend any authorized funds under the provisions of this subtitle to
purchase land outside the area of the Watershed plan.
