(a) The planning commission consists of six regular members and one
alternate member.
(b) (1) The term of a member of the planning commission is 3 years.
(2) The terms of the members of the planning commission shall be
staggered.
(3) At the end of a term, an appointed member continues to serve
until a successor is appointed and qualifies.
(4) An ex officio member serves a term concurrent with the member's
term of office.
(5) A member who is appointed after a term has begun serves only
for the rest of the term and until a successor is appointed and qualifies.
