(a) (1) The designated officer shall maintain a drainage record in which the designated officer shall record each petition, motion, order, report, judgment, and finding of the county commissioners or county council in each drainage transaction that comes before the county commissioners or county council as to make a complete and continuous record. (2) Copies of all maps and profiles shall be: (i) furnished by the engineer; (ii) marked "official copies" by the designated officer; (iii) kept on file in the designated officer's office; and (iv) open to public inspection. (b) (1) The board of drainage commissioners shall submit to the clerk of the appropriate circuit court an easement record listing each easement for maintenance and rights-of-way that the drainage district has on any land in the county. (2) The clerk shall make the easement record available for public inspection.
