(a) The Commissioner may require, by regulation, a farm labor contractor to keep records of: (1) wages owed to each migrant agricultural worker for agricultural work performed in the State; and (2) wages paid to each migrant agricultural worker for agricultural work performed in the State. (b) A farm labor contractor shall keep all of the records required under subsection (a) of this section even if the farm labor contractor is not responsible for paying a migrant agricultural worker.
