(a) In this section, "Office" means the Maryland Office of Registered Apprenticeship Development. (b) There is a Maryland Office of Registered Apprenticeship Development within the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Program of the Division of Workforce Development and Adult Learning. (c) The purpose of the Office is to scale registered apprenticeships across industries and occupations to meet the needs of the State's economy. (d) The Governor shall include in the annual budget bill an appropriation to the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Program to cover administrative costs for the Office.
