(a) This subtitle applies only to pet insurance policies or certificates that are: (1) issued to a resident of the State; or (2) sold, solicited, negotiated, or offered in the State. (b) All other applicable provisions of this article apply to pet insurance, except that specific provisions of this subtitle supersede any general provisions of this article.
