(a) Each self-service storage producer shall provide a training program approved by the Commissioner for employees and authorized representatives of the self-service storage producer. (b) The training program required by subsection (a) of this section shall: (1) include general information about homeowners, renters, business, and similar insurance that an occupant may have that may provide coverage for property located in a self-storage facility; (2) include information about the material terms of insurance coverage offered to occupants under this subtitle, including the price, benefits, deductibles, exclusions, and conditions of the insurance; (3) provide basic instruction about the provisions of this subtitle; and (4) include any other information the Commissioner may require.
