(a) (1) A community action agency shall administer its programs through a community action board. (2) A community action board shall meet the requirements for a tripartite board under 42 U.S.C. § 9910. (b) If a community action agency is a governmental unit: (1) its community action board may serve as an advisory body; and (2) with the approval of the governing body, the governmental unit may delegate to the community action board any of its powers or responsibilities under this title.
