An assisted household is a designated household if it includes: (1) an individual who has been a member of the household for at least 12 months before the notice of intent is given and who: (i) is at least 62 years old on the day that the notice of intent is given; or (ii) qualifies as a person with disabilities under § 3(b)(3) of the United States Housing Act of 1937, 42 U.S.C. § 1437f; or (2) a minor.
