To apply for a license to practice registered nursing or licensed practical nursing, an applicant shall: (1) Submit to a criminal history records check in accordance with § 8-303 of this subtitle; (2) Submit to the Board: (i) An application on the form that the Board requires, including a current address; (ii) Written, verified evidence that the requirement of item (1) of this section is being met or has been met; (iii) Written, verified evidence of completion of the appropriate education requirements of § 8-302 of this subtitle; and (iv) Written, verified evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant's primary state of residence is Maryland or a state that is not a party state to the Nurse Licensure Compact set forth in Subtitle 7A of this title; and (3) Pay to the Board the application fee set by the Board.
